Invite at least one friend

Message by Ting Kong Yu, photo by William Ting, posting by James Wong.
“What on earth am I here for?” is a simple question yet with profound implications that warrant us to consider seriously. It is not by chance that we exist on this earth. God has a purpose for each and every one of us. In Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11, God said to His people, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” And with his plan God also equips us with the spiritual gifts or talents to accomplish it. What is at stake is do I fully comprehend what is the purpose God has for me on this earth and is my life aligned with God’s purpose? We may be living an unfulfilled or a sub-optimal life if we miss the purpose on this earth. What about our friends, relatives and family members? By God’s grace GMC is organizing the 40 Days Purpose Driven Life. I pray that that through this program all GMC members and our friends will come to know and affirm the purpose God has designed for us on this world so that we will be able to live a God- blessed abundant life and that we will be able to participate in the ministries according to our gifts. Let’s take this opportunity to invite at least one friend to join this campaign.

Dear bro Kong Yu,
I have always been encouraged by your approach to do ministry. GMC is very blessed to have you as our Lay Leader. You are always supporting us from behind in whatever we do.
I pray that Jesus will empower you in your preparation for your sermon preparation for this Sunday. I also pray that you will get qualified as a lay preacher soon.
God bless.
